I broke 13 bones in a car wreck 30 years ago. Prayers for him
Praying.
Received an email on his condition an hour ago. Sounds like a lot of operations ahead. I put him in my prayers.
With the silence over the past couple of days I was worried that there was something like a paralyzing neck/spine injury or something. Not that these injuries are anything to sneeze at, I feel more encouraged now that he’ll be able to make a full recovery in time.
Thank God he didn’t suffer a head injury. For exposed riders like motorcycles and snow-machines, those can be absolutely devastating and the effects life-long.
Thank you for lifting Todd up in prayer. He's still in ICU under care of a superbly skilled staff. A long surgery repaired numerous breaks in Todd's upper body, docs essentially lifted and secured every rib with steel bands, anchored the broken clavicle with plates and rods, set aside repair of a broken shoulder for later (also later are more minor things like ACL/MCL knee injuries), still mechanically inflating one collapsed lung while other bruised lung, liver, etc., are watched; chest drain is working overtime to keep things clear.
Poor Todd-— dude took a beating. Heal him up Lord — we ask completely and quickly, Amen.
He’s very lucky to be alive. Hopefully he will make a full recovery and take up golf.
Even as a former motorcycle rider, I was turned off on snow machines early on.
While I was up skiing in the 60’s some 10 year old on a closed course, hit a tree, broke his leg, and killed his 7 yr. old brother.
Years later, friends were blazing along in not so open range and were decapitated after hitting an unseen barbed wire fence.
There’s more, and I have at least as many motorcycle horror stories, but at some point in life you decide some risks aren’t worth the thrill.
I’ll stick to Scuba diving.
Fervent prayers for Mr. Palin.

Don’t give up!
Prayers for healing.
That must have been quite a wreck.
Sometimes God sends us messages to slow down on our toys. Mine happened in the middle of Death Valley, all alone on a big “Adventure Bike.” Fortunately I recovered myself. And I slowed way down after that.
I am confident the good Lord was just tapping him on the shoulder.
Wishing him a safe and speedy recovery.
Prayers sent. Thanks for posting update.
Man, I broke one rib once in a skiing accident and the pain was excruciating, especially when I coughed or laughed. I can’t imagine what he’s going through.
Why didn’t you post the updates? Not allowed or ?
Sounds like a dirt bike accident i was in a few years ago.
One second i was flying fast on the bike the next second i was waking up in a hospital bed 4 days later.
Got my first helicopter ride that day........unfortunately i was not awake to enjoy it.
At some point you put away child things
His reflexes are a little slower.
Take up hot tub sitting.
