I don’t recall KDAY. KRLA, KFWB and KHJ are what I remember. Then came the FM revolution.

KDAY was at the very top of the dial. They played mostly the same as everybody else, BUT they were notorious for their promotions of offbeat, not so well known, but aspiring groups as well. The station had quite a following.
