Rep. John Yarmuth (D-Ky.) was critical of budget battles within the GOP saying, Republicans “want to emasculate government at every possible turn” and “want to starve the beast.”

Yarmuth made the statements at a press conference Tuesday while discussing the lack of the Republican conferences to produce a budget. …

Sorry, I recently watched Lord Of The Flies.

It is worth noting that the new Governor of KY, Matt Bevin, is a TEA Party guy who tried to knock off Mitch McConnell in the primary for that Senate seat a few years ago, and then prevailed for the Governor’s house despite most polls saying he would lose to the Democrat.

Go Bevin! You’re kicking them where it hurts, clearly, and they need kicking.

He’s the guy that boasted the amnesty crowd had all the donors and would ram amnesty through.

Have we ever called it "ramnesty?" Just curious.

The only reason I’m willing to vote for republicans is when I believe they will emasculate and starve the beast. Big government is evil and oppressive. Republicans (some of them) are the only ones willing to slow the growth of government, and only a few republican politicians are willing to actually cut government and expand freedom. This is exactly why establishment republicans were universally rejected in the primaries this year - except for Ted Cruz, they have all proven that they will neither protect our borders nor cut government.

Golding didn’t choose the name of his book arbitrarily; it’s the English translation of “Beelzebub”.

A government which repeatedly rapes its most productive citizens needs to be emasculated.

That, or “cramnesty”, would be excellent reworkings of tired terminology.

When 25% of the govt federal civil service threatens to quit, it reminds me of that hilarious scene in “Blazing Saddles’ where the sheriff holds a gun to his own head

False premise.

The DemonRat assumes that the Statist government that has destroyed our liberties is “masculine” (and thus, those who oppose a Leviathan state are intending to “emasculate” it).

Not true.

The State is a harpy, a shrewish, nagging bitch that constantly henpecks the citizenry ordering each citizen what they cannot do, and one that feels it must hover over each of our every actions to ensure our very survival...because she thinks we are too stupid to take care of ourselves.

This is why we refer to it as the “Nanny State.”

And it has actually been this nasty, shrill Nanny Bitch (personified by Hillary “Rapist Enabler” Clinton) has “emasculated” our once great nation of rugged individualists.

What we are actually trying to do is return to the US citizenry that form of masculine, rugged independence that made this country great. We are trying to reduce the tyranny of our shrewish government so that the citizenry can mature from the state of childhood that the Nanny Bitch seeks to keep us all in and to mature to full adulthood once again.

And that would be exactly wrong (emasculating government) because why. Rep. Yarmouth? More government is NOT the solution to our problems. More government is the CAUSE of our problems. The faceless drones of the bureaucracy are destroying this country with their ceaseless regulations and red tape. The congress has abandoned its responsibilities and is letting the POTUS govern by decree. That is called dictatorship — and the Left and RINOs love it.
