I think the Republican party has a better chance of winning as a populist party, especially with the Dems having moved so far left. Times change.

I'm beginning to come to that conclusion as well. Traditional conservatism, alas, is all but dead.

Trump is just moving us back to traditional/classical Conservatism that is not recognized by today’s Conservatives who are more global crony capitalist/neo cons who see things in black and white and want to be police man of the world
