This is a generation of bored and overpriviledged youth who saw a film about the 1960’s and are hoping to really make a cool version of the 1968 Democratic convention fiasco.

Interviewer: ...and what is the purpose of your march?

Protester: Like, you know, we really hate Trump and think he's a racist and all that sh*t , ya know, and like, I mean we're hoping you know, like that our rebellion will be like that one in Chicago in the 60’s, you know?

Interviewer: You mean the 1968 demo-

Protester: Yeah, right! Like 1968 or whatever man, I mean my folks told me about that convention and the people power and all that and like wow, I said, that was awesome!

Interviewer: So you're all hoping to kind of recreate that atmosphere?

Protester: Yeah, oh ,yeah, man like you know it's cool that people. like humanity, the masses you know, I mean all that togetherness, like together, all of us, you know, like against Trump cuz he's Hitler, right?
