I’m not sure what your point was. Mine was that there are a lot of people prepared to defend themselves in the event of trouble from rioters. They’re carrying legally. And that doesn’t even get into those who keep a gun in their car, but don’t have a concealed weapon license. Your car is an extension of your house in this state.

My point is - obtaining a CCW might not be the best indication of the preparedness of the other 95% of the population in your state, or anyone else’s.
For people such as myself, who have a several decades long official government record of documented multiple firearms ownership, not a big deal to get a legal CCW. I'm already on “the list”.
For 95% of the law abiding citizenry, I generally advise a much lower profile, unless absolutely required for day to day life.
