Moderate? Loves late-term abortion and hates the 2nd Amendment. I’d say he’s hard-core lefty.

Would you and NM make the same superior pecksniff comments to the poster if the appointee were Catholic and the press made the same assessment?pecksniff...LOL...I'd have to remember that one...
Wasn't Scalia a prominent Catholic ?
Why would I make any comment about him being replaced by another Catholic...?

Perhaps Freepers could provide a suitable conservative nominee for the U.S. Supreme Court.

Get this straight: I don't give a rat's behind what skin color the nominee has, nor do I care what religion he follows (mohammedanism isn't a religion).
I care that the nominee understand that words mean things, and that the Constitution means what it means, and is not some malleable thing that he can re-invent. It's called "strict constructionism", and it was the late and lamented Antonin Scalia's philosophy.
I'm sick of everything being about race, or religion, or minority status, or some other idiotic group identity. If you want to play identity politics, that's your business. Don't expect to get away with it though.

The BEST use for the NYT is to line a birdcage or use under the pot when you’re repotting a plant. Otherwise, it has no discernible utility.
