yeah, it’s almost as if Carson has been paid off by Trump or something...
to my intense surprise and utter amazement, a caller today to Rush told us he attended a meeting at the Trump Palm Beach place that was attended by Donald Trump, Ted Cruz and Dr Ben Carson
He did not say when but the message was there has been interaction for some time
It seems very likely that what ever they hatched up is now becoming reality
That the rest of the field sucks really bad? That would be my take.

Trump has a history of paying people off for endorsements.

No. But I did hear some people who echoed what Trump said, that said Carson was “pathological” and a liar, that a lot of what was in his autobiography was made up or greatly embellished, that Carson was “big into abortion” and was just an “OK doctor”.
At the time, it all but appeared that Carson was dropping out. The “I have leave Iowa before the polls even close because I have to home for a nap and a change of clothes” was about the most stupid thing a candidate who was determined to stay in the race could possibly say; that coupled with the fact that Carson had no campaign stops scheduled in SC or anywhere else at the time, along with reports of his campaign running out of cash and key campaign people leaving. Even without someone from Cruz’s campaign retweeting a CNN tweet and repeating the speculation from CNN and others that Carson was dropping out, that’s exactly what I thought at the time.
And just prior to the Iowa caucus, days before the supposed Cruz attack about him dropping out, Carson was polling at around +/- 10% to 9% and that’s exactly where he finished, IIRC at 9.3%.
But earlier Carson was polling much higher, leading for a time and was ahead of Trump, that was before Trump’s comments, not exactly calling him a pedophile but calling him “pathological” and saying that pedophiles are also “pathological” and you can’t cure that sort of thing. And calling Carson just an “OK doctor”, which IMO was just as bad.
Ha! Write that sitcom 94 - I’d watch it. It would be a great Netflix show.
