He did not say that bad things would happen if he did not get his way. He said that bad things would happen if the voters did not get their way. Is there a link to Trump's actual words? The article I read this morning used the word could not would happen. I think that is also important for clarity.

He said "I think bad things would happen." First, it is not advocation of "bad things", but rather a prediction. More importantly, the original poster said that this was if Trump did not get his way. But Trump was talking about a scenario in which the voter's choice is denied the nomination. The difference between these two is the difference between the act of a petulant child ("bad things will happen if I don't get my way"), and a vigorous and righteous defense of the principles of representative democracy ("I believe bad things will happen if the GOPe steals the election from the voters"). Naturally, the Cruz supporters, lacking in intellectual honesty or ethics, will misconstrue what Trump said to change it from a righteous defense of this countries' democracy, into a statement of petulance.
