Don't mess with them older folks. So, since the one perp is gone, shouldn't the 15 yr old also be charged with murder since his buddy died during the commission of a felony?

In a normal world, the 15 year old youth would be charged & prosecuted for murder in addition to armed robbery.
I say the odds are slim he will be prosecuted for anything.
That old (probably white) guy might be a different story though.
