Pedophile sandwich pitchman Jared Fogle was pummeled by a fellow inmate in a prison smackdown, according to a report.
The former Subway hawker, who is serving a 16-year sentence at Colorado’s Englewood FCI, was tackled and punched in the face by a 60-year-old armed robber, TMZ reported.

When I worked at the prison, those folks were either very careful to not let it be known why they were there, or, were in protective custody.

I'm not sure what irony you're picking up on, but I think more than a few robbers and murderers were themselves victims of molestation.

Children are a protected class in prison. Child abusers are not.

They sent him to a low risk minimum federal penitentiary. But, unless he requests protective custody, there really is no such as a risk free prison. Even the club feds have people prone to violence if you push it.
