Great, only I said nothing re the polls. I can see why you refer to yourself as “teacher”, since you are as pedantic as Cruz.

LOL you were replying (without substance) to my post about polls!! You only have personal insults, and nothing intelligent to say. My point, yet again, and backed up with 13 states' data: Trump doesn't live up to his poll numbers, and Trump polls behind Hillary. That's the only point that matters, and you're incapable of addressing it with anything but childish insults. That should tell everyone following your posts something about both you, and Trump's chances in the general.

“The GOP had seen record primary turnout mostly for Trump anyhow but also for Cruz which makes losing that much harder for Cruz folks who know without Trump around they’d be at 600 delegates”. Without Trump drawing the heavy fire from the GOPe it would have all been aimed at Cruz. And I don’t think his campaign could have survived it alone. Cruz fans are dreaming if they think this would have been easier for them without Trump in the contest.

Very possible that Cruz has benefitted from Trump being in the race. Really, the entire GOP has benefitted, since Trump is showing the world that the political Right does not need to cower before the media. (Of course, the majority of GOP milquetoasts and RINOs have zero interest in this lesson. It is really for the next generation of TEA Party types.

However, I would say that the record numbers are more about the anti-establishment mood in the nation today. The Dems are also having big nunbers, and their anti-establishment candidate is pulling in virtually the same numbers as the Establishment icon... but sadly, they have "superdelegates" who are establishment folks who can swing the entire election, and they make up virtually the entire amount of her lead. On their side, the Establishment wins. On our side, the only two viable candidates are both rabidly anti-RNC and anti-Establishment. THIS is what brings out the voters, not just Trump's TV celebrity (although I'm sure that is part of it. His rallies are impressive.)
