I noticed the gap keeps closing significantly.

From 14 points to 7.

I noticed that too. I don't see how the networks can call the race with only 18% of the vote in. I know they have exit polls and data but those have been wrong before.

The exit polls are rarely wrong. They have been doing exit polls for decades and you still don’t understand how they make their calls?
