Yes. We are in agreement, even if you’d rather we were not.

1) The 2 million in 1986 both procreated and brought their relatives here legally due to subsequent legislation that grew out of the 1986 law, and

2) The “Immigration Reform and Control Act of 1986” (which title I should certainly have used instead of the abbreviation) was further flawed in that it did not adequately address the underlying problem by controlling the border.

It was unwise for Reagan to agree to it, but he did.

And he later regretted it, as he said publicly.

The border control is paramount for any and all immigration proposals.

Reagan failed to have verifiable enforcement upfront.

Rubio was too stupid and naïve to think that Americans did not learn from that mistake when he decided to completely annihilate his career in 2013 to do the same.

He now regrets it, but it is too late for the idiot.

He had a fabulous resume that would have virtually guaranteed him the highest office in the land, but he threw it away supporting Chu8ckie.
