They can do that if the perps are 100% sure the FBI has no dirt. I think the FBI has a lot of dirt to prosecute, its a matter if the Carpet muncher and Mills want to take the full prosecution or a cut deal. My guess they will be McDougaled
That would be interesting, since the government employee that Hillary hired to set up the server would have known in advance that what he was doing would be committing a rather large number of felonies, given documents he would have had to sign in order to get the government job, he wouldn’t have to testify. They’d be able to lock him up and throw away the key.
Of course, that’s just a fantasy. The whole thing was rigged from the very beginning.
As a network administrator who’s responsible for the email system at a company that’s covered by SOX regulations, I’d be in prison by now, and subject to massive fines, as would the CIO and CEO.
