Moslems are jihadists, believers in jihad at least, insofar as they are Moslems. At any given moment most Moslems are not, however, engaged in jihad.

Most Muslims are not active jihadists, but I do believe that most Muslims are sympathetic, if not outright supporters of the more militant elements. FBI investigators have complained that almost no one in a Muslim community will offer even the slightest help in ferreting out the terrorists that operate in that community. Now, some of it may be fear, but, it is my gut belief that they support them much more than the authorities like to acknowledge.

Even nominal Moslems are potential Jihadists. All that is needed is that they start to take their religion seriously.
