I was poll watching this morning....
....we had a few who came in to vote, and didn’t understand it’s a closed vote.....only Republicans or Democrats....
.....NOT independents

If that’s the case, there should be no republican names on the ballot.

It’s a closed primary, there are probably a lot of low-info first-time Trump voters that are getting surprised by this. The early high poll numbers for Trump are based on “likely voters,” not “likely Republican voters.”

The last two polls show Rubio 9 behind and 6 behind. In Florida there is always the question of whether Hispanics are being well-sampled, and unlike the rest of the nation, Hispanics in Florida are heavily Republican (they are true freedom-lovers).

Add in the fact that in most cases Trump’s actual numbers run a bit below his polling, and there is an outside possibility for a big surprise,
