I am not as staunch a Cruz supporter as I was; still the whole “he backed the left” narrative is not one of the things that has put me off about him. Read what he said, the WHOLE statement without the Trump colored glasses on and you’ll see he spoke the truth. People want him to condemn the left while turning a blind eye to what Trump has advocated. They bitch about him for not being “principled”, then turn around and bitch about him when he is.
I am happy to see that the Trump die hards haven’t yet succeeded in running off ALL the conservatives from this site.
I’m looking forward to the day when Free Republic can return to it’s roots and stated purpose, and its zotting policy once again enforced against “arrogant, obnoxious, repugnant bile”. That day can’t come too soon for me.
