And ... Apparently Trump Supporters have more in common with the Dems than they would like to admit.

I'll admit it, jobs. See how Cruz's "conservative" values put food on your table.

Your analysis is correct. The promise of jobs is the source of Trump’s Blue Collar support.

Sad to say, however, that the Trump proposals to tax Americans on their purchases of foreign products is unlikely to add net jobs. It sounds good and is the centerpiece of the Trump economic plan. It will add jobs in some sectors, reduce economic activity in others (Think Walmart) and reduce employment across broad sectors of the economy.

Will employment go up? Perhaps. But the Walmart layoffs and the like will reduce the gains. Their could be a net loss.

And the good news for the Dems (who will definetly support the Trump plan to increase tariffs) is that it will provide more money for the politicians to spend on our behalf. That money, in the $Billions, will basically be money taken from the normal economy and flushed down a Washington D. C. toilet.

Those Trump tariffs will cost you and me real money. Be prepared to wait a year or two more for that big new 4K HDTV your kids are begging for.
