What’s everyone eating and drinking tonight?

I brought home an Olive Garden Chicken Pot Pie, new on their menu. Bought on the way home from Atlanta Airport Sunday night. Heating it up. It has an alfredo sauce with little macaroni noodles. Drinking I nice French Bordeaux, Chateau Blouin, (should be a white or a pinot noir, but don’t have anything on hand. SAving the champagne. Listening to an assortment of music by Alysin Krause and Rodney Crowell.

Trivia question for the night.... Where does the political slogan “Make America Great Again” originate?

(Look up Reagan’s 2nd Inaugural Speech)

Thank you Nikos! Bringing us back to the good stuff! Bordeaux? Wowsa.

We are going to have a local Texas wine (Flat Creek Winery), tortellini with loin pork chops in the sauce, salad and garlic baguettes. Enjoying the beautiful weather at the Lago Vista house.

You might be interested in this playlist if you cook. I found it on Ivanka’s website. It’s on Spotify and it’s called “Huckle and Goose Classy Cooking” It’s Bobby Derin, Dean Martin, Sinatra, Doris Day, Louis Armstrong,,and more. It’s awesome. Ivanka profiled a couple of ladies who cater and their last names are Huckle and Goose. They put the playlist together. Very classy.

Cheers!

What’s everyone eating and drinking tonight?

I just made a giant plate of hardcore clear-sauce garlic spaghetti and finished it off. Out of wine at the moment, but it'd be a Pinot Grigio from Washington State that I like if I had some.

Listening to Star Trek fight music and reading the Trump vs. Cruz threads, it fits the mood.

2 "Painkillers" so far ... yummmmmm ... 2 fractured vertebrae, 3 herniated discs and a bad SI joint with femoral neuropathy. No food until the kids are done their homework ... I can't cook without help these days.
