BTW, here are a few Trump positions for you to ponder while watching the returns come in....

1.He (Trump) thinks affirmative action is okay.
2.He would fund Planned Parenthood except for abortion. (This is current federal policy)
3.He supports a progressive income tax. He does not favor a flat tax.
4.He doesn’t want to cut Social Security or Medicare.
5.He’s in favor of a ban on assault weapons and supports increased waiting periods for purchase of ALL firearms.
6.He supports Universal Healthcare coverage for every American and the “govt. will pay for it”.
7.He doesn’t “fully believe in supply-side economics”.
8.He wants to lead “from behind” on Ukraine. Trump believes that Germany should take the lead on Ukraine.
9.He hates the Iran deal, but he wouldn’t abrogate it after taking office.
10. A short 5 years ago he termed the Republican approach to immigration enforcement “mean spirited”.
11.He supports “touchback amnesty”.
12.He has supported/supports such liberal sacred cows as ethanol subsidies, Kelo and govt. bailouts.

Make American great again. Vote Trump.

I really think you are posting on the wrong thread.
Go find somewhere else to play.

What matters now is very simple. We are not voting for a platform, or a package of policy papers, or a political science term paper. We are voting either for the establishment, or against it. Ordinarily, this is not the case. But this is not an ordinary election. This is just how this has played out.

I disagree with your list. Having heard him speak many times, he is very easy to take out of context. In addition, as a non-political person, he does not have ideologically derived positions, but rather practical ones, and, therefore, is more than willing to change his mind if better ideas are presented to him.

But all of that is irrelevant. I believe, based on how he has lived his life, who he surrounds himself with, and how he approaches his real job, that he cares about this country, is willing to be the dumbest guy in the room (ie - willing to lose ego and surround himself with the best), and is genuinely a man of good integrity and character. And he does seem willing to take the fight directly to the establishment (the media, both parties, and the political correctness upon which they all depend). The fact that he is generally conservative is a bonus. But the primary thing that matters is that he is on the side of the ~80% of the population who are disgusted with DC.

“Katie Glueck ;@katieglueck · 56m56 minutes ago

Kit and Charlie Moncrief, former prominent TX Jeb backers, among those now on Cruz finance team per release”

If Ted’s got a valid shot at the nomination after today then good for him.
If not, then this stinks.

5.He’s in favor of a ban on assault weapons and supports increased waiting periods for purchase of ALL firearms.

That's just a flat-out lie. No need to bother reading the rest.
