It is hogwash to say Cruz or anyone else is more conservative than Trump on these issues

The problem is that Cruz was running for evangelical Pastor of the US and thought that would get out the evangelicals who turned down Romney. Turns out folks were more concerned about the real issues, which did not include declaring war against Putin over his dealing with the Syria / Issis mess that GWB made when he broke Iraq and ended up owning it.

As I said earlier, Beck's bashing of Trump turned me off to a lot of what was going on. I was going to vote for Cruz until I picked up my pencil to fill in the bubble last Tuesday. I'm Lutheran. I'm wary of the idea of preacher/president. Kingdom of the right hand and kingdom of the left hand. I appreciate some of Beck's exposés, but I think he sees himself as some sort of prophet. Even though Huckabee is a preacher, I sense that he gets the division better.
