No, let’s not impose tariffs because
1) they artificially raise costs, and therefore, prices to the American consumer
2) they do nothing to address the underlying causes of business fleeing our country. It is a false solution, hiding the real solutions that should be implemented.

Tariffs have NEVER worked. They generally have the exact opposite effect of what was intended.
The Hawley–Smoot Tariff act certainly worked out well for Hoover didn’t it.
Those who do not learn from history are doomed to repeat it.
Tariffs are to level the playing field, reduce deficits and discourage American companies from deserting this country. And yes, they will work.
