Buckeyes would never admit they are wrong about Kasich as governor; so they feel compelled to nominate him for President. He will still be governor.

I (and most Georgians) hated Jimmy Carter when he was Governor.

But I thought the exit polls said the folk were livid with the party! Kasich should have lost..I don’t trust those polls! Full of baloney!
