Thanks for the courtesy of inclusion and thinking I was entangled in confusion. LOL!!
Not confused, uncertain of your purpose. You are very gracious re: comment. :)
In response to your question:
Not sure the response you were attempting to elicit, but seems you question was about apples and oranges. Some around here would have a fancy word for it, but for simplicity, apples (Political Rally open to the public) oranges (Awards ceremony which is in all probabilities an invitation only). Know very, very little re: them, as I make an effort not to watch their self aggrandizement.
Summarization: Two different ‘critters’. Two sets of protocols.
Thanks for the courtesy and rational reply.
Take care.........pilgrim
but seems you question was about apples and oranges.
Ok. A valid point.
Allow me to compare apples and apples.
Take a Democratic Party Rally, and a Republican Rally. Why is the protocol different between those two ?
Trump did not keep protesters out. He threw out those who abused the opportunity and tried to shut down his rally. Those who were disturbing the peace, interfering with a government controlled (SS) function, and those who attempted assault on a Presidential Candidate.
Here is how the democrats treat protesters , who had not committed any of those crimes.
