So, some of Cruz' donors want to encourage shale oil production. I believe Senator Cruz has been in favor of same for some time -- well before these donors became involved. He didn't have to be paid off to favor more drilling.

And don't you favor increased shale oil production, too? It has helped to reduce the cost of gasoline by over 50%. Why wouldn't you -- and Senator Cruz -- favor it?

And if some rich guy wantsto live in Puerto Rico -- and catch a ew tax breaks -- why should I care? Why should you care?

They are controlling the message and the candidate.
Mercer gets a data mining company to find the Cruz voters and craft the message that will win them over. Do we know what Cruz will do or accomplish in office? His words are not his own. Everything he does is for his own personal career trajectory.
The big money may have some things that we don’t have a problem with, but I tell you what, I don’t think they are particularly interested in changing the status quo.
