- He did not denounce his Canadian citizenship until 2014
- His father is Cuban and did not become naturalized until 2008
- His mother did not file a U.S. citizenship certificate for Cruz until later.

Who would have ever thought that someone who renounced up his Canadian citizenship, or any other foreign citizenship, would ever be considered as a potential President?
