I don't know about all the other states, but I will tell you about Iowa which was listed here. There was NO plot to make secret back room deals. If you wanted to go to any of the county conventions, you could have gone. If you want to go to the district convention next month, I am sure they have room and you can vote and do all the things you want.
An aside, district and county conventions are some of the most horribly boring things that ever take place. People spend literally hours arguing over what the exact wording would be on the pro-life plank.
Anyway then you go to the state convention. At the state convention you then pick the National delegates. Iowa is a very conservative state and I am sure all the delegates will be conservative. I will repeat a story from a previous post.

I will tell you a true story. In 1996 I ran the Keyes campaign in my county in Iowa, Linn County. Of his 7% statewide vote 5% came from this county. We get to the state convention and we have to decide who the delegates were to go to the National Convention. I was the chairman of that committee. We got in a room with all the pro-life, pro-family leaders and decided who would go to the convention. Every person had to be conservative and pro-life. We left Jim Leach, a sitting congressman, off the list as a delegate. We had the delegates voted on at the state convention and it carried overwhelmingly. As I left the stage ten to twenty people stopped me and told me in very vivid language what I could do to myself and in some instances what I could do with my mother.

My guess is no John Kasich supporter will be among the delegates going to Cleveland. One will vote for him in the first round. After that they are free to vote for who they want. THOSE ARE THE RULES.

So this is not some plot that only the insiders use, this is how delegates are chosen. The way to ensure your candidate wins is to have 50%+1 on the first vote.

I researched it today and what I found is that it is a high felony to coerce or bribe a delegate in Ohio.( 10 years to do) Coercion and promises for the delegate or his family of ANYTHING IS ILLEGAL!! This works for Trump. While he could play their games, the threat of 10 years in an Ohio Prison will keep everyone honest. Why would an honest person not support the the candidate with a 2 million vote lead in the primaries? Why ,especially if he can kick hiliary’s big fat ass? WHY NOT DO THE RIGHT THING FOR AMERICA? There is a law in Ohio that stops Karl Rove/ Mitch McConnell COLD!!
