I watched the video in which Fields alleged that Lewandowski battered her, and here's what I believed really happened.
Remember, this is a crowded room situation, and regardless, the people assigned to Trump, whether they are staff members or security personnel, need to keep up with him as he is moving forward.
What I saw was that Fields was moving forward, and a man stops her from moving forward, and then squeezes past her at an angle. This would be the action of someone who doesn't want people getting in front him because he has a job to do. It was neither an intentional assault, nor was it something personal against Fields. Whoever stopped her from moving forward would have stopped anyone else who might have been in the same spot at that time. The questions Fields need to answer now is that in light of what really happened, why did she allege that Lewandowski assaulted her and almost threw her to the ground. Those who supported her initially need to answer why they supported her statements when the video doesn't show what she alleged. (Her statement that she was almost thrown to the ground was preposterous.)
I think that law enforcement personnel who look at that moment would conclude that nothing unlawful happened.
Finally, all the people who went batcrap crazy and insisted that Fields was intentionally assaulted should walk it back or apologize.
Thanks for the heads up to this post. I agree. Whats maddening, they won’t take it back, they are all sticking to the original BS story. I also think the press would know the rules that apply to a subject under SS protection, just a guess on my part. This was a set up from the start.
