There is a religious left and I think their thinking needs to be challenged. Yes, it is Christian to spend one’s own money or time to help others. But spending someone else’s money (through taxes) is theft - and very unchristian.

Turn off the magnet which is welfare and social services, enforce the laws on the books, do not offer illegals drivers licenses, let cops stop them on suspicion of being illegal. You will see millions self-deport and the rest begging for citizenship. Build the wall and beef up the border control. Those that are left can become good Americans if done right. It’s a little bit of amnesty but it would drastically solve the problem with little violence and saving a whole lot of money. Why deport millions when they will deport themselves and why try to report the ones who will embrace a choice to be productive Americans. We don’t have the manpower or the will to physically deport millions.
