Why are y’all obsessed with Cruz? I thought Trump had the nomination in the bag...or does he?

This nutter has put himself out there as a representative of Christ and Christians which means both get dragged through the general election campaign. And with all the odd religious stuff about the Cruz family out there, it we not be pretty.
He can’t win and Christians will lose badly.
I’ve wondered that for a long time.
On the one hand, trumpers are sure there is no chance he can lose.
On the other hand, the mention of the name, Ted Cruz, sends them into paroxyms of panic and flurry.
They must immediately degrade Ted Cruz in every way possible.
