How this LIE got to be a bigger story than the actual rioting is amazing. I gotta give you trumpsters credit. You have outdone any ministry of propaganda in history.

The "lie"? You mean this...

"Now, the responsibility for that lies with protesters who took violence into their own hands...but in any campaign responsibility starts at the top. Any candidate is responsible for the culture of the campaign. And when you have a campaign that disrespects the voters, when you have a campaign that affirmatively encourages violence, when you have a campaign that’s facing allegations of physical violence against members of the press, you create an environment that only encourages this sort of nasty discord...The predictable consequence of that is that it escalates and today is unlikely to be the last such instance".

I guess you somehow forgot about all that nasty talk that came out of his mouth?

Ted Cruz can be summed up in that sentence that came out of his mouth: "Now, the responsibility for that lies with protesters who took violence into their own hands...but in any campaign responsibility starts at the top.

Uh, which is it again, Ted, who bears "responsibility"? He contradicts himself in the same sentence! Now, I've heard a few slick lawyers and politicians in my day...but to contradict yourself in the same sentence? To speak out of both sides of your mouth in the same sentence?

Now you know how this "got to be a bigger story than the actual rioting". The media ran with Ted's own words and said he blamed the Chicago incident on Trump. Did you notice how Cruz has been pushing back on that ever since to say the media twisted his words?

Uh, no, I guess I missed that as well.

Nope. and not once in there did he say "Trump".

Hey kiddo, if the shoe fits, wear it.

Cruz did not blame Trump for the protests.

He commented on the coarse nature of the campaign, and how violent rhetoric begets violence.

If you recognized your boy in there, that just might be your problem.

"Now, the responsibility for that lies with protesters who took violence into their own hands...but in any campaign responsibility starts at the top.

Those three dots mean you left something out. Care to fill in the blanks?

I noticed Cruz's words were, in fact, twisted. Maybe Trump supporters can't think through a multisubject statement. I know that must be limiting. Wall...nest speech YUUGE! It's short bus politics.

Ted, like his Black Power confederates, refuses to take responsibility for his actions.
