Yeah, it’s mostly pointless to use facts and/or logic here any more. I heard Cruz’ comments live, and he laid the blame squarely on the radical protesters. But he also rightly called Trump out for the incendiary and reckless rhetoric he has engaged in throughout the campaign. Here we have a Presidential candidate saying things like, “I’d like to punch him in the face” and “if you rough him up, I’ll pay your legal bills”. I would be highly concerned if Cruz did NOT call Trump out on his crude behavior. Also, I think I’ll give it a bit of time before I believe this is going to hurt Cruz at the polls.

You should spend some time watching Trump videos as I watch Cruz’s.

Trump’s supporters are not violent and all of Trump’s rhetoric is in the context of supporters defending themselves against the protesters.

So yeah, facts and/or logic, very useful all around.

No one walking on eggshells ever won a marathon. Trump talks tough when he's attacked. These "protesters" are trying to shut down his campaign by ruining every event. You fight them or you throw in the towel and learn to say "Madam President."

I for one don't plan on saying that.

Seems like most Freepers are with me. In the lastest FR caucus taken after Cruz's comments on the rally cancellation he got just 17%, an all time low.

Myrott stated:

“But he also rightly called Trump out for the incendiary and reckless rhetoric he has engaged in throughout the campaign.”

The problem is, the above statement is a lie, so it was not right for him to claim it. In EVERY case, the comments (misquoted, edited and taken out of context) were in response to a violent Leftist who started attacking good people. They were ALL in the context of self-defense and to lay any blame on Trump for supporting self-defense against this violent scum is deceitful and repugnant.

As another poster summarized it, Blaming Trump for the Chicago riot is like blaming a Youtube video for Benghazi.

People repeating that lie should be ashamed.

Free speech. What don’t you get about “free speech”? It’s his style — his schtick. HE isn’t harming anyone. People can choose to not listen.
