Republicans blame Trump for climate of violence

Republicans blamed Donald Trump for violence and escalating tension at his campaign events, driving rivals Marco Rubio and John Kasich to say they were no longer sure they could support the GOP front-runner should he become the nominee.

“We settle our differences in this country at the ballot box, not with guns or bayonets or violence,” Rubio said Saturday after a night of chaos around a Trump event in Chicago.

“You wonder if we’re headed in a different direction today where we’re no longer capable of having differences of opinion but in fact now protests become a license to take up violence and take on your opponents physically,” he said. “This is what happens when a leading presidential candidate goes around feeding into a narrative of bitterness and anger and frustration.”

Asked if he stands by his pledge to support Trump if he's the party's nominee, he said: “I don’t know."

“I already talked about the fact that I think Hillary Clinton would be terrible for this country, but the fact that you’re even asking me that question … I still at this moment intend to support the Republican nominee, but … it's getting harder every day.”

John Kasich wavered too. “It makes it extremely difficult," he told reporters in Ohio.

We settle our differences at the ballot box. UNLESS you’re a left wing thug then we riot and stop rallies of those we differ with.

I’m hating the gop more and more every day. And I’m no longer putting the “e” after gop.

I’m sickened to think what the gop, Rubio, Cruz, the media would say if anything happens to one of Trump’s family members. They’d blame Trump.

They keep this up and there will be bad things to happen.

They don’t give a damn.

As long as they win.

It’s disgusting.

It’s what the Establishment wants because they know the majority of people want Trump to be POTUS.

All the divisiveness and hate that’s been generated in recent history can be placed at the feet of one man - Barack Hussein Obama.

THE REAL REASON FOR THE CHICAGO RALLY GONE WILD!

Many have commented on what they think is the main cause of the voilence and hostilities that occured during the cancelled Trump rally in Chicago.

But I have my own theory about this and I know it’s a factor with which even many on the left would agree - perhaps Bernie Sanders most of all!

So what was the primary factor that led to the events in Chicago?

The answer should be easy, as it’s something that Bernie Sanders has even predicted would happen, so now we can see that he was right!

No, it wasn’t Trump’s prior rhetoric

Nor was it the actions of the protestors

And it was also not the reactions of Trump supporters

And it wasn’t anything said or done by Bernie or Hillary

So what was it that led to the tempers, outbursts and violence?

(.......drumroll ........) IT WAS CLIMATE CHANGE!

Absolutely the republican party elites are demonstrating daily why the people are fed up with the status quo. America is at a critical point, conservatives have to stand their ground against the leftists trying to take over our great country.

Wise up before it is to late, you give an inch to the enemy, who would happily see you dead, and they take a mile. You and Ted Bush become one of them by publicly criticising Donald Trump. His "measured" criticism was totally inapproprriate compared to the scale of the violence we face. You don't seem to understand they would physically attack Donald Trump or anyone who supports him regardless of anything they did or did not say.

What Ted should have done was issue a clear unambiguous statement totally condemning the violent attacks. He did not do so.

Cruz: "Now, the responsibility for that lies with protesters who took violence into their own hands."

I guess in your eyes, noone should criticize the great and mighty Donald.

Ted doesn't need to apologize for Donald's behavior nor for BLM's.

I doubt Donald has enough humility to admit wrong for any of his statements urging violence.

Not good enough you still side with blacklivesmatter and all the other thugs determined to destroy any democratic proccess. Don't bother part quoting Ted, he blamed Donald Trump as well, that is not a clear statment condeming the violence Ted wants it both ways like a true "lawer" would. Try spending some time criticising Obama and his race hate strategy go to the sourse of the problem stop with the "blame the victim" mentality.

Here is some TRUE hate speech designed to incite violence try concentrating on that and not on critisising the guy actualy in the fight against it.

Kasich Rubio and Cruz...the NEW THREE STOOGES, ......WELL EXCEPT THE THREE STOOGES WERE NOT COWARDS.

I can’t believe Republican Leaders running away from confrontation AND THEN blaming those who are being attacked!

To make America Great Again.... OUR LEADERS WILL NEED TO UNDERSTAND THAT FIGHTING WILL BE PART OF THE REMEDY. We have to many receiving something for nothing and that is something that is not taken away without a fight. There will be no use for cowards like Rubio and Kasich....and especially no room for someone like Cruz who talks the COURAGEOUS CONSERVATISM....then walks the COWARDLY QUISLING CONSERVATISM.

No, when they disrupt our planned speech we should indulge them with twenty minutes of debate from the podium. This will show that we aren’t divisive.

So, you want to shut down dissent, as well.

Trump opened the door to the violence when he stated that he would pay the legal fees for any supporter who punched a protester in the face.
