Republicans blamed Donald Trump for violence and escalating tension at his campaign events, driving rivals Marco Rubio and John Kasich to say they were no longer sure they could support the GOP front-runner should he become the nominee.
We settle our differences in this country at the ballot box, not with guns or bayonets or violence, Rubio said Saturday after a night of chaos around a Trump event in Chicago.
You wonder if were headed in a different direction today where were no longer capable of having differences of opinion but in fact now protests become a license to take up violence and take on your opponents physically, he said. This is what happens when a leading presidential candidate goes around feeding into a narrative of bitterness and anger and frustration.
Asked if he stands by his pledge to support Trump if he's the party's nominee, he said: I dont know."
I already talked about the fact that I think Hillary Clinton would be terrible for this country, but the fact that youre even asking me that question I still at this moment intend to support the Republican nominee, but it's getting harder every day.
John Kasich wavered too. It makes it extremely difficult," he told reporters in Ohio.

ANY Republican or alleged conservative who blames Trump for the rising tide of violence coming from left wing and terrorist cells in this country need to STFU and just go hide under their beds until the Trump Administration tells them it’s safe to come out sometime next year.
The antics by the left over the last 24 hours did not win Trump the nomination. The despicable response of Trump’s rivals to these events lost them any shot at the nomination.
Well said
Massive mistake.
Wellstone Memorial moment with Rubio/Kaisch/Cruz on the wrong side
True that.
The left has been shutting down free speech for decades, these cowardly scumbags blame the victim and kowtow. And these are the people who are going to take on the Democrats? To hell with them.

More like an agent of political climate change at play here.
He’s speaking to more than his supporters when he calls out the enemies of this nation and asks for peaceful coexistence with radicals already here.. Instead the media harpoons him and invokes Naziism oñ him.
Strange world.
Well, scr*w them and the horse they rode in on.
90% of us know Cruz blamed Trump, the Press knows Cruz blamed Trump, but some Cruz supporters on FR still deny it.
The Three Tools.
These same people are going to be out spewing the same garbage no matter who the GOP frontrunner is.
Rubio, absent from voting, defends ISIS and Soros
and terrorists. Just like Cruz.
Wow...the media and the Republicans defending ISIS against Trump.
The Milquetoasts have certainly showed their colors over this.

Freepers the GOPe along with the DNC is throwing everything they have, including the kitchen sink at Trump right now.
I think it’s very clear that Trump is the guy to elect.
Pray for Trump, his family, his security and their families safety.
They could sure use Angels to protect them from these Demons.
