In watching the video, I was surprised that they didn’t have Trump duck. Even if he’s wearing a bullet proof vest, his head was exposed AND the agents were too far away from him to do him much good.

If Trump ducked, the press would have had a field day with it. We’d have variations of “Trump’s a Coward” all over the headlines. I remember reading a novel a long time ago in which a presidential candidate was disgraced due to gunfire at a campaign event in which he supposedly took cover behind a child or something like that. I forget the name of that book but pretty sure it was written by Stephen King.
The crowd was well below them, the apparent attack was from below, they had the angles from below covered. I thought they covered the situation (which we still don't understand entirely) well.
