It’s so sad. I just checked out some other threads here on FR. Not even Ted’s comments seem to sway his supporters. They either claim he didn’t make them, or parrot them, claiming this is Trump’s fault because of the “climate” of his rallies (or, rather, their illusion of what they think that climate is).
Trump needs to throw out the stump speech today and make the speech of his life, and it needs to be heard by everyone. This cannot be allowed to happen again - and I don’t know how to stop it from happening again without fighting back against these animals. I hate that we’ve been put into a lose/lose situation by these leftist vermin, simply because they demand a world-wide safe space for their perverted views.
There will always be some number of people who are literally cranks and kooks. Just observe, note, file it away in your memory banks, etc. Those people who are kooks in one area are often fairly level headed in other areas.
