I was concerned about this from the time the rally was announced. UIC (former employer of Bill Ayers) and its vicinity are Riff Raff Central. There have been large and continuing BLM activities downtown for months. And Gutierrez promised to bring out the Latinos. Of course, the sonofabitch has had a “prayer vigil” down there all day. I guess hell broke loose in spite of that.
That how I remember it from the 90s, always looked forward to getting on the Ike and the hell out of there.
