If Trump does become the nominee, he will run into a buzz saw of reality otherwise known as the general election, and he may not know how badly mangled he’ll get...........................Bring it on!!!

Trump is coated with Vanadium, which takes the power of that directed against him and sends it back the other direction with increased force.

The Washington Post is assuming that Trump will do what Republican presidential candidates normally — willing walk into it.

Trump needs to let his kids run the business and get busy studying policy with advisers 18 hours a day. He is woefully lacking and will be torn up in the general.

I think Trump’s defense is that both candidates have gone so far left he can paint them as unamerican.

Trump doesn't need advisers. He already knows it all.

Trump hits back... while losers like Mittens stand there and take it.

No wonder Greg Sargent is frustrated to no end!

"Consider a few of the main attacks that Trump had to endure last night. When Trump vaguely promised to keep entitlements solvent and to cut "waste, fraud and abuse," Marco Rubio made a spirited case against Trump’s budgetary hocus pocus, repeatedly saying the numbers “don’t add up."

Do Rubio's numbers "add up"? Do Bernie's? Do Hillary's?

It's an interesting if not novel thesis that Trump's candidacy is doomed because he's a hypocritical, opportunistic liar. When everyone outside the Washington beltway thinks that everyone working inside the Washington beltway is a hypocritical, opportunistic liar.

Depends on how much farther to the middle Trump goes once he has the nomination locked up. He may overshoot and wind up to the left.

More like the verbal equivalent of Active Armor.

Response is instantaneous, intense, devastating and on target ...(no focus groups or teleprompters involved)

Followed up by "Next Question"

Political Science major, law degree, career politician. That does not encourage me to trust Marco Rubio with numbers, especially if they involve dollar signs.

Trump may be a a hypocritical, opportunistic liar but he isn’t a Washington establishment hypocritical, opportunistic liar. That’s why people follow him.

The problem with current politicians is that the people are aware that they have “policy knowledge”, but have zero confidence that the politicians will USE that knowledge to Make America Great.
