Years back, I would have asked about the Glomar Explorer.

Global Marine Drilling Company in the Pacific off of Hawaii. Global Marine Drills for Oil. Geologically there was zero chance of oil, but there was a sunken Russian Sub on the bottom of the ocean. They got the important parts along with nuclear warheads and code books, for years later no one knew what was done.

They did good, they did very good!!!!!!

"Oilfield Trash Rules" in an operation like this or a bar fight, place your money on the roughnecks and the brilliant engineers that do what can not be done. Oddly enough a few of those engineers could do quite well in a bar brawl! Those engineers were basically roughnecks like us but a lot smarter.

“Geologically there was zero chance of oil, “
