Yob, his wife Erica and LIndsey Eilon were all selected to be unbound delegates to the 2016 Republican Party convention. That gives them power to vote for whoever they like on the floor.

Somehow, though, Trump got a couple more delegates on Five Thirty Eight, up to 462 now.
Virgin Island Republican.
Because they have no balls?
VI even has a Republican resident, let alone party? Who knew?
Cruz and Carson were the only ones with full delegate slates, so it is unlikely that the Cruz campaign worked hard to see uncommitted delegates win.
Cruz is attracting a lot of sleaze. But he is finished next Wed.
Aww, don’t interrupt the “2-minute Cruz Hate” with facts!
*Chuck Yob in the Virgin Islands ping*
No one ever cared about the Virgin Islands Republican Party before today, why should they now? Do you really think this will make a difference?
I thought it mattered only because if one candidate got a majority of the votes, it could count towards the 8 needed according to rule 40.
Trump only needs 1 more. Cruz needs 5 more, Rubio 7 more and Kasich needs 8.
Someone pointed out on an earlier thread that there were enough unbound delegates elected in that if you could get them to agree for a particular candidate, then the Virgin Islands could qualify as one of the 8 states needed.
I think the GOP needs to do away with Caucuses completely. Caucuses seem too susceptible to dirty games and tricks.
Translation: Pay no attention to these slimy Cruz tactics.
Yob for Yeb?
I like facts because I believe that it is important to be attached to reality. Adams isn’t one of my favourites among the founding fathers, but he was right in saying that “Facts are stubborn things.” And I admire the context in which he said it—defending some of those accused of involvement of the Boston Massacre.
There’s a lot to not like about Cruz. There is also a lot to not like about Trump. That said, if there is any hope left for the Republic that is reasonably probable (a big if) it seems to me to lie with one of them. That said, facts need to be appreciated.
That was how Obama won in 2008, and the Clintons were livid. IIRC, the Obama activists got there early, grabbed the paperwork and forced their will and took charge of the whole process.
If you look at the calendar, the caucuses are front-loaded, so if you have activists who can go in and hard-charge, you can get some early wins that should translate in to momentum.
After this election cycle, I think everyone who made their living on campaign ads, consulting, etc., will be out of work.
It’s clear nobody knows what is going on and nobody is able to create a message to ‘sell’ politicians any more.
Good.
Really. A lot of Freeper supporters of Trump AND Freeper supporters of Cruz have been acting like rabid Leftists with their Alinsky tactics. It's like watching children argue.
Looks like Trump picked up a few more votes from GA and Mississippi.
Cue Don Meredith!

I’m just here for the comments. Getting into a pissing contest only gets my legs wet.
So, only states that have primaries count towards rule 40? Other states mean nothing?
I don't think rule 40 is ever going to come into play.
If caucuses don’t count, don’t see how the Virgin Islands could count.
