A Russian TV scion with strong links to President Vladimir Putin was killed by 'blunt force trauma to the head.'
Now speculation is mounting that the Kremlin could have been involved in the death of Mikhail Lesin - the founder of station RT.
According to reports Mr Lesin, who is said to have fallen out of favour with Moscow, became closely linked to the FBI and was widely believed to have become an informant.

I posted the story a few down but post it again for sure, this happened in DC and the hotel while okay was not what one would expect a “billionaire” and this Leslin guy was, to be going to.

Yes, I saw your earlier post after I’d posted mine. I searched and didn’t see anything recent, but in the time it took me to run down the Mirror article & get it posted, you beat me to it!
It’d make a good movie, with the ending not yet known! But, who would have the you-know-what to make it or act in it?
I want to say when this happened last November, some reports at least, said a heart attack I think... so this is way different than that.

Read the article, and he was paying 170 pounds a day at the DuPont hotel. While not one of the most luxurious, it is still a very nice hotel in an attractive area. A good place to enjoy life while not being too conspicuous. The RT guy owed a friend of Putin’s a lot of money which he apparently said he was not going to pay. And reading that list of land deals I wonder if it was just non political murder but mafia money laundering stuff?

Ah, just read the article - he was probably under investigation by the FBI for his land deals. Probably was going to become an informer for the FBI to avoid jail and that sealed his doom. That makes sense then that the Kremlin would target him for turning.
No he didn’t die in a nice DC hotel.
RT isn’t even reporting on it last I checked.
He was already an informer to the FBI, read the bleeping articles.
This is the same guy whose yacht they found in Australia and they didn’t know what would happen to it now, that the owner had died.
