I saw this coming yesterday. Cruz is mainstreaming himself and trying to get the anti-Trump wing of the party. This is all about positioning himself in a two man race by throwing conservatives under the bus. We’re dead to him now.
BINGO! That's what Rush was pushing today. Cruz will never get Trump voters, not gonna happen. Therefore his only path is consolidate anti_Trump votes by Kasich and Rubio dropping out and supporting him.
Then came the bombshell. Rush also says Cruz will still need the GOP to line up behind him. Rush tried to play it like it would be really really hard for the GOP to do this because they "hate" Cruz but they'll suck it up.
Is Rush this out of it? Does he think Cruz supporters are so dedicated they will work with the GOP to save Cruz?
