Doctors, Hospitals Owed by Failed ObamaCare Co-ops May Get Stiffed by Uncle Sam

Who gets paid first when an ObamaCare co-op goes belly up: the doctors and hospitals that cared for co-op enrollees or the federal government, which caused the co-op mess in the first place? If the Obama administration has it way, Uncle Sam will be at the head of the line to recoup losses, quite possibly leaving healthcare providers in the lurch, reported the Daily Caller.

The American Healthcare system is being further destroyed by Obamacare. Hospitals and doctors will get stiffed. Taxpayers will be burdened with even more bills. And insurance rates will continue to rise.

If people knew the true cost of Obamacare and what a failure it has been, Obama and the politicians who voted for it would be in prison.

The doctors and hospitals should come out OK. The ones I’ve been to make you sign that you are ultimately responsible for the charges. So they can just squeeze it out of the patients if the insurer doesn’t/can’t pay.

As between the patient that got the services, and me as taxpayer, who should end up holding the bag?

The failed co-ops frittered away $1.4 billion in federal solvency loans...some dupe representing the administration testified with pride before congress today that 90% of the population is now covered by medical insurance of one type or another - a few years back, before the two thousand pages of regulation, billions of wasted tax dollars on failed computer systems and bankrupt exchanges, and dozens of intrusive new bureaucracies, 85% of the population was covered - for all the chaos we have managed to increase the coverage by 5%, which in a country of three hundred million amounts to fifteen million people - had we merely taken a tenth of the 1.4 billion lost to the taxpayers in these loans, we could have given each of those newly covered about three hundred thousand in each of the last three years in which we've suffered under Obamacare to buy outright their health care - and avoided all the chaos to boot.....

Pay the doctors and hospitals. He’s already ran up a 10 trillion dollar debt and 100s of trillions in unfunded liabilities. What’s another couple trillion in Obamadebt?
