I agree and I love Paris Too. A couple of arrondisements are not too nice, but the rest of Paris is delightful.
Next time you go over there, get out into the countryside. And if you don’t speak French, just learn the six or so basic phrases.
I was blessed because my wife is French-Canadian and still conversant. But the French truly appreciate you making the effort to speak their language. And believe it or not, they love Americans, at least outside of Paris.
