Wrong.
Yes, but it wasn’t you that gave me hell for calling it Dearbornistan. And my apologies, I didn’t check your home page to see where you were from.
No apology necessary. Honest.
.
So, you think it's funny that people were murdered?
Furthermore, you are insulting and belittling the Amish. Did you ever thank of that? Asshole.
Nice...
Lighten up, Francis.
Next time you go over there, get out into the countryside. And if you don’t speak French, just learn the six or so basic phrases.
I was blessed because my wife is French-Canadian and still conversant. But the French truly appreciate you making the effort to speak their language. And believe it or not, they love Americans, at least outside of Paris.
:-)
The guy thinks he’s clever, but he’s so stupid, he doesn’t even know it.
Yes, I know. I speak fluent French with a bit of a southern accent. They seem to love the accent. I lived in Paris tree years and loved every minute of it. I never had any problems even though i didn’t speak French at the time. The French take the time to try to understand you, unlike other countries I could name. I got along great with sign language and drawings before I learned to speak their language. They are a very helpful people.
I agree about learning a few basic phrases. It always helps.
Three years....and in the south-west Limousine region many more.
No. Guns are not outlawed in France. There is a very tight control on pistols, but I have carried long-arms through Paris and shot in sporting events as well as carried my guns through the airports without any problems. The place they go berserk is in England.
Bless you. I wish I had learned French instead of Spanish, but who knew? I have been to France twice (not counting USN port visits) and the UK about twelve times. No disrespect to my Brit friends, but I greatly prefer France. I also like Quebec greatly.
Ditto!!! I love the French people. They’ve helped me dozens of times simply because I was an American! I have close Brit friends too, but England isn’t England anymore.
I’s so true. I fear Europe is undergoing a radical change, and not for the good. I just didn’t feel the tension in France that I felt in the UK.
Have to tell you, I will stand up for France whenever I see them denigrated here. Not that I have seen it recently; I haven’t.
in the short time I’ve been here, I’ve had to defend the French several times. Thankfully, it seems people are realizing they had been fed a lot of malarkey. Np problems recently.
I must admit I previously fell victim to all the BS about the French. Then I went over there. Now I am a believer. They are a beautiful people, they truly are.
Now we should start our Francophile club....
:-)
A beautiful people and they haven’t forgotten what America sacrificed for them. I could write a book on Why I Love the French.
“arrested”????
Why?
“It is good to fear the sword of the state, for it has it’s purpose”
