I agree. The only problem is our UAW gets a premium on salary and the salary increases by a large margin every year. We pay overseas workers $5.00 less per person working in the plant. That is a huge margin on investment. Until we can align our salaries, we can’t be very profitable. It’s a catch-22.
UAW is an anomaly. Half of all cars in the USA are made by non workers. 90% of all manufacturing in the USA is done by non union workers.
