Years ago, Waco incident. The sheriff there reported David Koresh often coming into town to gather supplies and so forth. The feds could have nabbed him with incident at that time. Nope. Oh, those boyz with their toyz had to perform and all out assault on the compound. Resulting in the murders of innocent woman and children.

Now it is a stipulation that all the “excess-military style’ gear that LEOs receive from FedGov must be utilized in the manner for which it was designed within a year of the issue date or loose support funding or the equipment itself.
Do you think the local Sheriff or State police are gonna let all those guns or our new batch of hUMVEes or armored personell carrier get taken back if they dont “officially” use it?
