I think it's something beyond that. Drawing on my own experience ( ahem ) I think people have decided that there's a massive campaign underfoot to dissuade them from voting for Trump ( duh! ) and are hence at this point steeled and determined to vote for him all the way - NO MATTER WHAT!
Right. Just ‘oh more of the anti Trump b.s.’ and people tune it out.
Plus, people can VOTE for someone they may think is an ass personally. Cruz is a jackass and I’d love him on the Supreme Court. Trump is a jerk and I’d like him being a jerk for the U.S.
