“This is hardly news, let alone some break with tradition. The current First Lady and former First Ladies and Presidents attend funerals of other former First Ladies. Not sitting Presidents. Bush did not attend Lady Bird Johnson’s funeral, although Laura Bush did. Clinton did not attend Pat Nixon’s funeral. 0bama did not attend Betty Ford’s funeral for that matter. Move along, nothing to see, there are much better and sounder reasons for outrage.”
The past actions of former presidents is not justification for similar actions by Obama. More specifically, this is the funeral of Nancy Reagan, the most revered First Lady in our history.

Why not? If it is OK for Bush and Clinton to skip former first lady funerals why is it a bad thing if Obama does?
Seriously? The most revered first lady in history? She did not hold a candle to Jackie Kennedy, or Hillary Clinton in sheer numbers of admirers I would bet. Mrs Reagan is highly though of and rightly so by Conservatives, but not by the left. For some reason both the right and left loved Jackie.
